Quotes from famous song lyrics
Singing in the parking garage
Music is the central theme of the A’DAM Tower. It starts in the parking garage where excerpts from famous song lyrics adorn the walls. Visitors can guess to which songs the lines belong. Every company in the tower has an affinity with the music industry. Guitar manufacturer Gibson set up its marketing branch here and ID&T and MassiveMusic also set up their offices in A’DAM. The name of the tower is a play on words. In addition to A’DAM being a common abbreviation for Amsterdam, the letters also represent Amsterdam Dance and Music.
The crowning glory: the Lookout
An unparalleled view of Amsterdam: from the observation deck, you enjoy sweeping views of the canals, the townhouses and the harbours of the Dutch capital. Many locals have never seen this view before. A cool ‘lift experience’ with LED lights and sound effects whisks visitors in 25 seconds to the viewing platform. The view from the roof is enhanced with interactive pillars that provide more information on the culture and history of Amsterdam. Would you like to peer over the edge? Hop on the gigantic ‘Over the Edge’ swing. The view is literally breathtaking.
Soak up the view with a nice glass of wine
Dine with the city as a backdrop
Revolving restaurant Moon is located on the 19th floor. Watch the city go by as you dine. One floor higher you will find the elegant panorama bar, appropriately named Ma’dam. After 10pm, the highest bar in Amsterdam transforms into the highest club in town with great beats and top DJs. Do you prefer the ‘underground’? The basement of A’DAM houses the night club Shelter, where guests can dance the night away.
